Adriana’s musical talents were recognized early on when she was a young child and invited to perform (from memory) a Haydn Piano Concerto in D major with a professional orchestra in Europe (Czech). She’s been playing piano since the age of 5 and has an extensive knowledge of piano repertoire. After studying piano at the Conservatory, she continued in her advanced musical training and received the degree “Magister of Music” (Masters of Music) from Europe’s prestigious Charles University in Prague.
And after a thriving carrier in producing programs for national TV related to music and arts, she returned to her beloved piano when she came to the United States in 1992 and began teaching.
She enjoys working with students of all ages, from very young children to seniors. Her students in past years did very well participating in annual recitals and piano competitions – playing solos, duets and chamber music – broadening their musical skills, and exploring diverse musical styles, learning music theory, sight reading and improvising. Many of her students continue on their musical path becoming professional musicians or music educators.
Adriana shares her love and enjoyment of music through her gentle patient teaching style that is tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each of her students. She leads them to artistic independence and supports their musical creativity and curiosity at every step of their learning and exploring music.
